Its time to update my portfolio again.  I do this every year to keep my photos looking fresh but also because I get to style the shoot exactly as I want.  I get to take the photos I want rather than being led by my clients (which is obviously not a problem I just like to choose!).
 
So this year the first theme that I want to shoot is Icecream & rollerskates
 

If you’re interested in having your child involved get in touch maryanne.madden@gmail.com and send a recent photo of your child.

All you really have to do is choose which shoot you want (there will be a few more over the coming days) – dress your child in the right look (we can chat about this) – and be available to meet me at the location (usually a park or woods)

Family Photo session – Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds Photographer

Yesterday I met up with Elise and her family at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds, for a family photoshoot in the snow!  The weather wasnt ideal but everyone got into the spirit of things, and we even managed to do some sledging.  The snow had started to melt but that didnt stop us, we wandered round the ruins, splashed in puddles and climbed walls.  Lots of fun!

Happy New Year from Maryanne M Photography- Kids Photographer, Yorkshire

Happy New Year to everyone.  Its been a busy time in our household, we moved house the week before christmas, we got engaged (and can finally announce it now we’ve told Sophie), obviously then there were the usual christmas festivities with a 6 year old…and then back to work. 

Thankfully though I had enought time to catch Sophie in the snow.  I like to make the photos into a little story of what happened that day… a lot like one of my photography sessions.

The thing I always love about these type of photos, is that they’re natural and a far cry from the usual posed variety!  if you’d like to arrange your own photo shoot get in touch!

Newborn Photography – Skipton, North Yorkshire, Baby Photographer

I had the pleasure today of meeting up with Angela and her gorgeous family, and in particular her new daughter, Beatrice (Bea) and I think you’ll agree, she is beautiful! And she was so good, she slept most of the time.

Thanks to Angela’s mum Bea was looking very cute in a little pea pod…

I’ll be posting some more from the session in the next couple of days…but I think you’ll agree how gorgeous she is and how great Angela looks!
